10 powerful ways to motivate yourself to exercise during Corona Virus Lockdown

Because of corona-virus lock-down, your motivation to exercise at home is most likely less than your motivation to exercise at the gym.  At home you are distracted, others interrupt you, a TV show distracts your attention.  And there are many other clashes that contradict each other.

10 powerful ways to motivate yourself to exercise during Corona Virus Lockdown

 So what are you doing?

How do I avoid these interruptions?  How can you motivate yourself to exercise regularly and properly?

The most important question to ask yourself is how far do you want to achieve your health and fitness goal.

Getting motivated to exercise is easy.  Answer this question.  Think about it with concentrated intensity.  Look at the goal you want to achieve and repeat your goal.  Above all else, repeat the reason you want to accomplish this goal.

What is the goal of my striving to be fit and healthy?

The WHY has the power to pursue your goal until it is achieved, even when you train from home in this limited situation.

How much you willing to achieve your goal determines the strength of your motivation.

It is this strength that motivates you and pushes you strongly to achieve your goal regardless of challenges, setbacks, opposites, confrontations, distractions, interruptions, deviations, or anything else.

How to stay motivated is no longer a problem!

Bill set himself a goal that he was very passionate about.  He spoke of this goal for days;  what that meant for him and how he really wanted to be there in six months.

A few months later, Bill was disappointed that his goal has not been achieved.

Bill's goal is "getting a toned and toned beach body"

So, What happened   What happened to Bill's file?  Where is his motivation?

At first Bill was excited about his new goal of getting a toned, toned beach body, as he put it.  He was felled with motivation and determination to achieve this goal.

He used to go to the gym four to five days a week.  He drank his protein shakes, nutritional supplements, and always asked personal trainers about his exercise plan and routine.

He was satisfied with his progress.

However, from the third month onwards, he went to the gym twice a week, and from the middle of the third month he switched once a week.

His dilemma was that he couldn't understand why his motivation to go to the gums and exercise had dropped to once a week by the middle of the third month.

"At first he was felled with enthusiasm and motivation. "I felt like nothing could stop me," he explained, feeling very confused.

So what's wrong?  Where has his incredible and unstoppable motivation gone?

On closer inspection, it turned out that Bill had lost his motivation because he wasn't exactly that passionate about strengthening himself.

He really didn't care if he had that beach body.  In fact, he made fun of people with beach bodies whenever he saw one on vacation.

Interesting point, huh?  Do you see where this is going?

His goal was simply a fleeting "wish".

In other words, he didn't want to be trained enough.  If he had, if he felt passionate, he would have continued his exercise routine no matter what challenges he faced.

Bill was torn between two thoughts.

The first one said, "Yeah, I wish I had a tight beach body."  But the second contradicting thought from him confirmed: "Sure, but you could do without it in life. You tease people with perfectly toned beach bodies, now you wish one? Come on!"

And who won?

His conflicting thinking had the advantage.

You see, Bill would have "loved" the toned body, but he didn't turn that desire into a solid goal.

The toned body idea was still just that, an idea or a wish.  As such, his once strong motivation had waned until it was no more.

If he had made it a goal, a solid goal, he would have looked for it.  He would have been motivated to pursue this goal, regardless of his fatigue or his job.

After all, that was his goal.  And the goals should be achieved.

Passion ignites the will from within to stay motivated in order to achieve all kinds of goals.

Passion provides the fuel to keep your mind in a highly motivated state.

Once you understand what excites you, when you understand WHY you want to be healthy and fit, it becomes easy to get up and start whatever.  It comes your motivation for remaining persistent despite setbacks and obstacles will be overwhelming.

In this difficult situation that we all face, Here are 10 powerful ways you can motivate yourself to exercise below. Over time, regardless of distractions or interruptions, your motivation will increase.

Motivation drives you to consistently take measures every day in order to achieve and live your goal.

The 10 Powerful Ways to Stay Motivated are listed below.  JUST, you have to change your strategy:

1. Reschedule your health and fitness goal

Now that you're in lock-down mode, that doesn't mean you can get there just because you have a goal.  Your mind is too focused on this interruption when you hit the gym.  Do you feel frustrated and keep asking yourself, “Given all these interruptions around me, how can I stay motivated?  How can I stay motivated without being around other people who also do sports?  and a host of other similar issues will inevitably go in the wrong direction.

As we saw with Bill, you need to have a clear and precise goal with no conflict.

Just wanting a specific body type doesn't help.

Just wanting to lose weight doesn't help.

Just wanting to run the marathon doesn't help.

Exercise has much more to do with the pleasure of achieving complete and complete physical condition. It's a big goal to achieve;  At least for now while you are exercising at home rather than at the gym.

So what exercise program can you do at home?  Jumping jacks, planks, triceps dips with a sturdy chair?  Think about it and make a plan.  It doesn't have to be set in stone;  Adjust it over time until you finally find a plan that satisfies you.

You may face “distractions at home”.  Organize uninterrupted time while exercising with those around you.  Ask them to respect your exercise time.

2. Focus on the thrill of exercising, not just exercising

An effective way to stay motivated is to focus on the excitement and happiness that comes with exercising.

Endure the discomfort of exercising at home to see the bottom line.  by reminding yourself WHY you work in the first place. And after the training you can see an even stronger emotional reinforcement in the mirror.

See and feel how beautiful it is.  It's a great motivator.

3. Reward yourself

Did you get rewarded for your great workout while working out in the gym?  Otherwise I should have.

Now that you're working out from home, it's even more important to reward yourself after each workout.

Make a list of the rewards. Take care of yourself

 4. Follow the plan that works best for you

As mentioned in step 1, planning is important.  Sticking to the final plan is critical to your training success. When your motivation to exercise has decreased and sometimes also wanes, this is where discipline and the big WHY come into play.

Let discipline motivate you to exercise. Let the great WHY be your mighty "speak over your shoulder";  that keeps you motivated.  This “shoulder talk” shows you how to stay motivated during your workout. And during the entire detention.

 5. Quality instead of quantity

That’s the key.  Just because you are at home and not at the gym does not mean that it should affect the quality of your workout.

Don't compromise or settle for less.

Don't put what you've already earned at risk.

It is true that you may need to adjust your workouts at home.  It is true that motivating yourself to exercise can be a problem (at first).  It is true that the quality of your workout can be compromised. If so, find a way to get the best quality possible with each workout and do each workout with full determination and dedication.

It's about quality, not quantity.

6. Set milestones for home training

Break your end goal down into small, achievable milestones.  You can do this weekly if you want.  If your goal at the gym was to do 100 pushups and for some reason you're struggling to do it at home, break it down into achievable steps by doing the amount you can do at home and go  to 100.

Start small to see what you can and can't do and build up gradually. It will definitely keep you motivated.

7. Get a training partner

Staying motivated at all times can be difficult at times.  In this case you should look for a training partner.  Someone to work with you and help you stay motivated and you can encourage and motivate them too.

What a wonderful win-win exchange.

8. Music keeps you active

If finding a workout partner is a challenge for you, or if that person can't be there for you as often as you'd like (not even at Facetime), recruit your other workout partner: your music playlist. For many, listening to music can be a powerful motivator for exercise. Are you one of them Otherwise, consider this method.

You may be pleasantly surprised at how much energy listening to your favorite music can bring you.  where you are motivated and where you can stay motivated to exercise. And for some, they train harder and harder because they are animated by the strong rhythms of the songs they love.

9. A fantastic distraction that you will enjoy

While we're done with that, here's one special distraction that I think you'll enjoy.  Do all or part of your workout while watching your favorite show.

It will be a pleasant distraction that will make you forget about the inconvenience of exercising at home rather than at the gym. It could be a huge distraction if your home cardio routine is "boring".  That distraction will lift that boredom, don't you think?

 10. Celebrate!

Make it your goal to celebrate your success.  You can celebrate every completion of the training.  You can celebrate any milestone.  You can celebrate dedicated training every week.

Celebrate that you primarily exercise at home and haven't stopped now that the gyms are closed. Make a list of reasons to celebrate and enjoy each celebration.

Here.  These are 10 powerful ways to keep yourself motivated to exercise and stay motivated during this accident.
